Update on Mia

Mia is doing really well since her surgery.  We just started the Generation Rescue Grant Program, so our daily tasks are more than ever, but will be worth it.  We are also trying to figure out a way to get Mia's sleep safe bed that she needs.  She is outgrowing her crib, and our insurance has a limit per year for medical supplies.  After their payment, we will be left with about $6,400 we are responsible for.  They are holding her order until we can get payment for the bed.

Oral Surgery

Mia had her oral sugery with Dr. Jay on May 4th.  She had a frenectomy, 8 crowns, multiple fillings, and reconstruction of the four front top teeth.  She was in surgery about 4 hours, but is doing extremely well.  We did have an allergic reaction to one of the numbing medications, but we were able to get another medicine compounded for her, and she had done well on it.

On the way home from hospital.

Sleeping like an angel....feeling much better!

Puzzle Piece

Every aspect of life is a piece of a puzzle.  Each piece will have a right answer, you must be patient and the answer will find you.  Sometimes, the piece that you think will fit doesn't....DONT force it too.  Move on, and the right piece will fit into place as God plans it to in his time.  Pray and have faith.

Dentist- 2nd Opinion

Went to see Dr. Lipoff in the Jeffersonville office of Kids Dentistree.  Absolutely loved him..... He is going to admit Mia to Kosairs Childrens Hospital under sedation, and do stainless steel crowns instead of fillings.  Won't know until he gets her under how many she will have to have, but could be up to 16 of them.  We are pending prior authorization from insurance to schedule the surgery.  He was awesome with Mia.
